The Korea Economic Daily on Thursday (08/09/2011), citing industry sources, said the new tablet-based Samsung will Windows 8 and will be unveiled in the event of Microsoft developers conference in California, USA, 13-16 September 2011.
Samsung Electronics spokesman declined to comment about these plans. Samsung is the company's second-largest mobile phone maker after Nokia the Finnish world.
Some analysts say, Samsung is trying to diversify the operating system phones and tablet computers to go beyond Google's Android system.
Last month, Google bought the device manufacturer Motorola Mobility, which makes Google a potential competitor companies like Samsung.
Samsung introduces smart phones and tablet computers Galaxy Galaxy Tab to compete with the iPhone and iPad Apple products, which currently leads the market.
