Netbook (also called Mini Laptop and Mini Notebook) now increasingly mushrooming. Many people love it because of light weight and small physique. No wonder when any netbook brand continues to grow. Lenovo did not want to miss jazz up netbook market with Lenovo IdeaPad S10.
Cute design
Let's see physical Lenovo IdeaPad S10. Lenovo posts in metallic silver color printed in italics on the right side of casing panels. Font size is quite large, so easily read by anyone who passes in front of you. The design is cute and modern netbooks with the ends without a point. Also look sturdy, as we can expect from a big name Lenovo.
Section In
Now let's open the IdeaPad S10. Steady hinge, both ends were reinforced with silver chrome ring. A webcam looking at the edge of the screen LCD. Let's see the panel keyboard. Well, there's something different here. First, the on / off was not placed in the margin as in most other netbooks, but placed in the middle panel. Placement is quite fun. On the right side button on / / off there are three LEDs, one each for Caps Lock, Num Lock, and access the hard disk.
Speaker
Speaker was on the front side facing us. On the left side the speaker is a three LED system: the far left is the status on / off the unit (blue LED), the center is the status of the battery power indicator, and the right indicator Wi-Fi devices (blue turns to purple when Wi-Fi on).
Screen
This netbook screen size 10 "- no different than the rival bid. But there is a bonus here, which is LED backlit which can save battery power but can also make a colorful display on the screen to life. Screen resolution is 1024x600, but can also be set to 1024x768. You just have to roll left / right and up / down if you select the resolution. On-screen display supported by the graphics chip Intel GMA 950 64MB. The chip is quite old indeed qualified to handle the usual Windows XP GUI. But the cause is inscribed 3DMark 2003 score is not too high, 570. So do not expect to play a game with high resolution comfortably in the S10.
Indeed, the Lenovo IdeaPad S10 is tempting. The design is slim and attractive, in other words, cool. The existence of PCI ExpressCard/34 slot does it look different from other netbooks. Performance - Office applications and surf - good enough. If only the problem that stung enough heat can be overcome by Lenovo. Also must be more comfortable if Lenovo membekalkan 6-cell battery that is more durable.
